Yesterday I was talking to this industry veteran from a very reputed business house. We had the opportunity to work with them during COVID times. Managing their workforce at various locations in the country. Hand holding them through these unprecedented times. Indeed, #COVID times have been interesting for everyone in healthcare
For me, I thought it was ….
#Home-Healthcare getting recognized in mainstream #healthcare, opportunities of new products, scale, remote monitoring, #telemedicine, huge patient volumes, govt tenders, insurance funding, revenues, profits
I left active practice almost 10 years back now. Umpteen calls from known and unknown patients, families, worried parents, worried children, worried spouses, turned me back to managing COVID patients at home. It was not difficult to treat them. What was more difficult was to manage their fears, anxieties, emotions. I picked all the calls, handled all the queries to the best of my abilities, learned by doing it, feared the worse at times. And most of the time the outcomes were very favorable.
I was not even expecting anything in return. but something motivated me and kept me going on ….
Yesterday when the gentlemen mentioned above remarked “ we have all the prayers and blessings from the heart for your team (Dil Se duaain ❤). They were always there !!! “, it got me thinking. I realized that this is what got me going. Every time someone called me they were keeping their 100 % faith and trust in me and I was just striving to keep that intact !!
Thank God for the worthiness !!! you only knew my deepest fears when I was putting a brave face protecting the trust which was highly placed !!!
